The nearby National Marina Park has over 100 islands (Islas las Secas) within its boundaries with innumerable secluded beaches and is a refuge for an abundance of wildlife with; howler monkeys, ocelots, margays, raccoons, ant-eaters, coyotes; leatherback and hawksbill turtles, dolphins and whales
Cala Mia is made up of 11 stunning bungalows and suites, each with its own thatched roof rancho with handcrafted columns, large sofa and hammocks, and a nicely decorated bathroom with a large hot water shower all within 10 meters from the Pacific Ocean or the beach/bay-side. Some bungalows have private access to the nearby beaches.
The restaurant with its excellent Mediterranean-inspired gourmet cuisine is built on the highest point with breath taking views of surrounding islands and bays and views of the resort’s private beach
The infinity-edge freshwater pool is perched on the edge of the ocean. A small island, accessible by hanging-bridge, houses a Spa for massages and a variety of beauty treatments.
The surrounding area is what you come here for as there are countless bays, white sand beaches, sea & wild life provides for numerous tours and activities that will surprise even the most seasoned traveller
