There are two gorgeous pools – one of which feels like a secret hideaway for lovers down a steep path surrounded by sky high trees. Being such a large property, they provide transport in the form of a gleaming red tractor (known as ‘The Limo’) so guests can get around and explore easily. So it’s quick and easy to get down to the stunning Pacific beach below for a swim in the surf or to go on a short hike along the nature trails within the rainforest.
The bungalows are beautifully appointed and very striking in design. They all have wooden shutters on the windows, tiled floors, fans, four poster beds with fine white curtains (very romantic) and large bathrooms with a huge outside shower area with mosaic tiles.
The Margarita sunset bar gives you fantastic views out to sea and of the island Cano where Francis Drake once sailed. Your stay here is on a full board basis, and the restaurant serves up a wonderful variety of fresh produce and service is excellent.
Activities on offer are varied – visits to Cano Island Biological Reserve, sea kayaking, dolphin & whale watching, hiking within the national park, and horseback riding can all be arranged.
