Beginning in Panama City you have the opportunity to cruise through the Panama Canal before crossing into Costa Rica to explore the lesser visited Osa Peninsula and Pacuare River.
As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £5,760 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis, private transfers, internal flights in Panama and Costa Rica, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.

Day 1 | Fly to Panama City. Met on arrival and transferred to the Canal House for 3 nights in a Gatun suite on a b&b basis. https://www.latinodyssey.com/panama/the-canal-house |
Day 2 | A free day for personal exploration. The city has a range of colonial quarter’s ideal for exploring on foot. We would recommend making your way to the Casco Viejo part of the city to explore and visit the presidential palace. |
Day 3 | Met and transferred to Balboa Harbor on the Pacific side of the canal. There you will board a Panamanian ferry for a Canal Transit. As you approach the canal, you will be able to observe the Bridge of the Americas. Breakfast and snacks are included while you are aboard the ship. An English-speaking guide is onboard the ferry and will narrate the dramatic history of the building of the Panama Canal, which was completed by the US between 1904 and 1914. A full crossing is scheduled allowing you to enjoy the cruise all the way to Colon City on the Caribbean Coast. You will reach Colon around 5:00 PM where you will be met and transferred back to your hotel. |
Day 4 | Met and transferred to the airport for your internal flight to David, depart 09:15 arrive 10:05. Met on arrival and transferred to Golfito (Costa Rica) for your flight to Puerto Jimenez, where you will be met and transferred by vehicle and boat to the Casa Corcovado lodge for 4 nights in a deluxe ocean view bungalow on a full board basis including a program of activities. https://www.latinodyssey.com/costa-rica/lapa-rios |
Day 5-7 | There is an included programme of guided excursions, which include; walking the trails ofCorcovado National Park, hiking the Casa Corcovado private trails, swimming and snorkelling in a sheltered bay, or go on a bird watching tour. You can also choose to paddle a sea kayak, go dolphin and whale watching or fishing. |

Day 9 | Met and transferred to the Pacuare Lodge. Transfer is by vehicle and by river raft, as you will be going over rapids (Class II and III) for an hour to reach the lodge. 4 nights in a Linda vista suite on a full board basis. https://www.latinodyssey.com/costa-rica/pacuare-lodge |
Day 10-12 | 3 days free for personal exploration and relaxation. The lodge has a variety of activities available as well as onsite naturalist. All activities can be booked and paid for locally. |
