Tejo is a traditional sport, created by the Chibcha people from pre-Hispanic central-western Colombia. It is played by throwing a metal disc called a “Tejo,” across an alley to a board covered with clay. In the board there is a triangular folded paper packet called “mechas”, filled with gunpowder-like material that explodes on impact
The objective of the tasting is to leave behind the traditional ritual of professional tastings and learn to appreciate coffee with the senses of smell and taste in another way.
