A honeymoon in Chile can cover an array of landscapes including alien desert canyons, fertile wine valleys and even ski resorts.  Running almost the full length of South America, its Lake District and national parks provide stunning, sweeping, simply unforgettable views.

An Argentina honeymoon has it all; good food, excellent wine, Andean peaks, glaciers and waterfalls and even though it doesn’t have good beaches, the small fishing village of Jose Ignacio in Uruguay is only a 40 minute flight away from Buenos Aires.  The sheer size of the country means you can be away from the crowds in no time and today you can find extraordinary colonial hotels with palatial suites to tiny, luxury hotels with private plunge pools; there is something for every taste.

Having a honeymoon in Belize means you can mix one of our favourite honeymoon combinations; beach, adventure, beach.  This allows you to relax immediately after your wedding before having some adventure inland and then ending on a beach so you return relaxed and ready to begin your married life!

Brazil excels in terms of hospitality and luxury holiday style. It tends towards private, suave glamour of the boutique hotels, as well as having the Robinson Crusoe style 'barefoot luxury'. Private villas, plunge pools, spas galore and wide, sweeping white sand beaches all with a wide choice of dining options, this is Brazilian honeymoon style.    

A honeymoon in Costa Rica means having the best of both worlds. It is a country that has had a huge American influence which has resulted in some outstanding lodges being built, and yet it is truly Central American with regards to its biodiversity. This is a place where beaches and jungle are now home to not only a bizarre array of flora and fauna but also of first class lodges and hotels.

If staying in 300 year old haciendas, visiting lesser known Inca ruins, exploring colonial towns and experiencing bizarre and wonderful wildlife is for you then Ecuador is the place to spend your honeymoon.  Situated on the equator its best months are from April to September (when most people get married) though it can be visited all year round.

Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula can be reached with direct flights from both the US and the UK, which means you can be relaxing on the beach less than 24 hours after you tied the knot!  The beaches along the eastern coast are simply stunning, a place where you can find powder white sand, unspoilt reefs and amazing small and intimate hotels.

From lush valleys to the tops of the Andes a honeymoon in Peru is whatever you want it to be!  Great for adventure, you can journey to the must see site of Machu Picchu together and experience incredible diversity across indigenous cultures, wildlife and terrain.

Lose yourselves in Nicaragua, Central America’s least-travelled country – this is a honeymoon off the beaten track! Quaint villages nestle in unspoilt regions and paradisiacal islands offer an idyllic, isolated version of the classic ‘sun, sand and sea’ combination.
