The lodge at Big Falls

The cabanas are simple and tastefully decorated, with small porches containing a sitting area and hammocks overlooking the river.  Inside the rooms are spacious, have a queen size bed and a single bed and en-suite facilities with a large shower area.
 
Activities in the area include; bird watching, walking trails, Mayan ruins, visits to the small local villages in the area, caving and, due its location next to the sea, snorkelling trips to the nearby cayes – all of which can be arranged directly on arrival.
 
The food is a mix of European, Belize and Middle Eastern cuisine and the lodge also offers a small library, internet access a large swimming pool.
