Catamaran
Titicaca
Titicaca
The Catamaran trip is best done as a 2 day one night voyage and starts in either Puno (Peru) or La Paz (Bolivia) ends at the other, or vice versa. Beginning with a coach trip to the edge of the lake you board the catamaran and visit one of the islands followed by dinner on the boat and a visit of the other island the next day before transferring by coach to Puno or La Paz at the end.
The cabins are clean and comfortable with en-suite facilities and hot water and have twin beds in. None of the cabins are particularly large, but you will spend little time in them anyway. There is plenty of outside deck space for viewing and lunch is often taken al fresco if the weather is good.
