Brazil has some superb hotels and we think the best of them are combined below. It combines two very different cities in Rio and Salvador, the mighty Iguazu Falls and outstanding Ponta dos Ganchos to finish.
As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £6,150 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis, private transfers, entrance fees, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.
In addition, the cost of the internal flights will be approximately is £850 per person.

Day 2 | Met for your full day visit to Corcovado Mountain, which has the statue of Christ the Redeemer perched on the top, followed by a visit to the famous Sugarloaf mountain to watch the sun set over Rio the mountain is only accessible by cable car. Lunch included |

Day 4 | Met and transferred to the airport for your internal flight to Iguazu, depart on JJ 3153 at 10:20 arrive 12:35. Met on arrival and transferred to the Das Cataratas Hotel for 2 nights in a deluxe room on a b&b basis. Met for your boat safari – shared basis, taking a speedboat ride up the Iguazu River for views of the falls from below. Day 5 | The day is free for personal exploration and relaxation. The walkways around the Brazilian falls are opposite your hotel, so can be done at your leisure. |
Day 6 | Met and transferred to the Argentinean side of the falls where there are walks at varying levels including a train ride to the devils throat. Met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Salvador. Depart on JJ 3152 at 15:45 arrive 19:25. Day 7 | In Salvador. One of Brazil’s most historic cities with a strong African Influence. The city centre is a mix of old, modern, rich and poor and is a fascinating place to explore. We would suggest a city tour today to give you some orientation of the city. |
Day 8 | Met for your full day excursion by local boat around All Saints Bay. During the day you have the opportunity to swim off the coast of some of the nearby islands, visit the Sao Marcelo fortress and the Modelo handicraft market. |
Day 9 | Met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Florianopolis, via Sao Paulo. Depart on JJ 3895 at 10:40 arrive 14:10, depart Sao Paulo on JJ 3185 at 15:45 arrive 17:00. Met on arrival and transferred to Ponta dos Ganchos hotel for 4 nights in a super deluxe bungalow on a full board basis. Day 10-12 | 3 days free for personal exploration. The hotel has kayaks and laser sailing boats and its own private beach. You will be able to have a private dinner on the small peninsular island opposite the hotel, payable locally and subject to availability. |
