The south eastern corridor or Venezuela is home to some superb scenery. A place where you can see flat top mountains, multi coloured rocks and swim under waterfalls. You end on los Roques which includes a night on a sail boat.
As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £5,550 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis unless stated, private transfers, internal flights in Venezuela, entrance fees, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.

Day 1 | Fly to Caracas. Met on arrival and transferred to the ole hotel for the night in a standard room on a b&b basis. |
Day 2 | Met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Puerto Ordaz. Met on arrival and transfer to the Intercontinental hotel for the night on a b&b basis. |
Day 3 | Met and depart on a 4D/3N adventure to Santa Elena. Driving in jeeps you will stop to swim in over 20 different waterfalls, visit remote Indian villages of the Pemon and walk up the surrounding Tepuys. Overnight accommodation is in simple posadas and is on a full board basis. Departure from Puerto Ordaz. Before heading south, we make a stop at the beautiful tropical Cachamay Park, located on the banks of the Caroní River. We then head towards the Gran Sabana, through the rubber-seeking and gold mining towns of El Callao and Tumeremo. We will visit the Los Molinos underground mine, and stop for lunch. We then continue towards El Dorado with its famous prison camps, wind our way up the “Escalera”, and in the late afternoon reach the northern boundary of the mystic Gran Sabana. Overnight at a basic but comfortable camp (beds). Dinner at the camp. |
Day 4 | After breakfast we explore the Gran Sabana! We drive to the Pemon Indian village of Liworibo, and from there take a 30-minute dugout-canoe ride to beautiful Chinak Meru, the highest waterfall in the Gran Sabana. We will stop at the water holes of Pozo Escondido and Pozo de Los Enamorados, where we’ll enjoy our picnic lunch and have time for a refreshing bath. In the afternoon return to our camp. Dinner at the camp. |
Day 5 | After breakfast we head south to the Brazilian border. We will pass by clear rivers and waterfalls, driving through rolling savannah and forest, always accompanied by the impressive scenery of the Tepuys. We will stop at the waterfalls of Kawi and Kama Meru, the lookout point El Oso, and Arapan and Soroape falls, where we will stop for a picnic lunch. We continue south, stopping at Jaspe falls, a shallow stream flowing over a wide bed of pure, semi-precious jasper, in sheets of glowing yellows, oranges and reds. In the afternoon we arrive at the border town of Santa Elena de Uairén. Overnight in simple but comfortable lodge. Dinner at the lodge. |
Day 6 | After breakfast we will drive across the border to the town of Paracaima for some shopping before being transferred to the airport for your flight to Canaima. Met on arrival and transfer to the Jungle Rudy’s Ucaima camp on the Canaima Lagoon for 3 nights on a full board basis, remainder of day is free for personal exploration, where we recommend visiting the waterfalls near to your hotel. |
Day 7 | Met for your full day trip to the base of Angel Falls by motorised canoe. Going up the Carrao river you will cross the Arautaima rapids and enter the Devil’s Canyon. Arrive at the base of Angel Falls, trek to the top of Laime’s Tepuis for views of the falls. Swim in the lagoons at the base of the falls. Late afternoon navigate downstream to Canaima. |
Day 8 | Full day trip to Kavac Canyon. Includes flight over Angel falls, visit the small Indian settlement of Kavac nestled in the Kamarata Valley – one of the narrowest in the world. Wade and swim through the canyon to the hidden waterfalls of Kavac. BBQ lunch, return flight to Canaima in late afternoon. |
Day 9 | Transfer to the airport for your early morning flight to the Los Roques archipelago. Transfer to Posada Natura Viva for 3 nights on a full board basis including all excursions. Day 10 | In Los Roques, free for personal exploration. Included in your time are daily boat rides to the surrounding islands which include beach umbrellas, cool box |
Day 11-12 | Met for your 2D/1N overnight catamaran ride to the outer archipelago, where you will have the opportunity to snorkel across some of the more remote parts of the reef and swim in the warm open waters of the Caribbean. Return to Posada Natura Viva for the night of the 2nd. |
Day 13 | Morning is spent snorkelling at some of the outer islands. Met in the afternoon and transferred to the airport for your flight to Caracas, met on arrival and transfer to the international terminal for your return international flight. |
