LOS ROQUES HOLIDAYS

Los Roques is amongst the very best of the Caribbean islands, situated 160 km north of the central coast of Venezuela; it is made up of a chain of 40 coral islands, along with hundreds of smaller islets, sandbanks and flat sandy cays.
Stretching 35 km from east to west and 25 km north to south, the entire archipelago is a national park, a paradise for snorkelling, scuba diving, game fishing or just relaxing on one of the many white sandy beaches.

Excursions are made on yachts which take you to these remote cays to laze away the days. The largest island, the only inhabited one, boasts tranquil posadas with comfortable roof tops, ideal for sipping your sundowners whilst watching the sun set as the ocean laps against the shore.
